Writing at Richardson Middle School with Ms. Kaur

Picture
Middle school is quite the transitional period for students. This is a year they are taking on more responsibilities about education. At the same time, a successful student has the support of his/her teacher and parent.  Therefore it is important that there is communication between the teacher and parent.  Please do not hesitate to call or email about your student and his/her education.

This site is set up with class notes, assignments, worksheets, and other important documents that can be obtained.  Please take a moment to venture and browse through it.

Student work is very important to their learning experience. In class, they will engage in lessons where skills or tools they need for the future are modeled, guide through, or practice independently.

The work they learn in class is only reinforced and emphasized with homework.  Like any sports player, they don't just play during the game, the have practice and training before or after it.  Homework is the same way - strength and training for your brain!

Below is the objective, classwork, and homework for each day of class.  Included will also be the worksheets used in case a student loses them, they can be reprinted out. :)

Date - Objective: this is where students will see the aim, expectations, or goal of the class/lesson.  This will help guide students to their end goal to achieve mastery of a skill.
Classwork:  The directions, the worksheets, or resources will be posted here.  Click on the title which appears in blue and underlined to access it.
Homework:   Work for home. ;)

If you ever need help, you can call, email, or text Mrs. Kaur.  You can even schedule time to work with her one on one or in small group for help.
Take responsibility of your education and . . .
